Indemnity against the insured’s legal liability to pay compensation for acts of negligence arising from actual physical loss and/or damage to goods under the care, custody or control of the insured in pursuant of a contract of carriage directly caused by fire, accidental overturning or collision of the carrying conveyance, theft and any subsequent theft threat or accidental loss or damage whilst such property is being loaded upon, carried by or unloaded from any vehicle or trailer owned or legally operated by the insured or hired transport as per contract of carriage; during transit including whilst temporarily housed in course of transit.

GEOGRAPHICAL LIMITS
Anywhere in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and/or Comesa countries.

Þ Accidental collision or overturning of the carrying conveyance including any subsequent theft thereat.
Þ Extension 60 days transit storage period
Þ Hold up & hijack (loss due to robbery) extension
Þ Riot & strike, flood, storm, tempest, impact and allied perils.
Þ Fire & explosion
Þ Excluding Loss or damage due to delay, loss of market or any consequential loss
Þ Excluding loss or damage arising from wear & tear, depreciation, gradual deterioration, moths insects, vermin damp, mildew, rust or any other inherent.
Þ Excluding loss or damage to cash, bank notes, treasury, securities, stamps
Þ Excluding defects in the goods insured
Þ Excluding loss, destruction or damage as a result of confiscation by government or action of any lawful authority.
Þ Flood and related special perils.
