Storage Risks Floater Insurance

COVER

Accidental material loss and/or damage to the goods and/or cargo stored at the insured’s or warehouses and/or rented warehouses per policy caused by fire, lightning, flooding, storm, tempest, impact by any device, water damage, bush fire, earthquake(fire & shock) explosion, malicious damage, subsidence, landslide, riots & strikes, burglary including property owned by the insured and/or under care and/or custody and/or control of the insured and/or insured’s duly appointed and/or authorized agents and/or property belonging to insured’s clients and/or for which the insured is responsible and any property incidental to insured’s trade which is not specifically insured per policy

INTEREST

Against loss or damage to goods of all types and descriptions including but not limited to general dry cargo, personal effects, industrial products of all types, insured’s own property or property under control or custody of the insured and/or for which the insured is responsible or has instructions to insure.

LIMITS OF LIABILITY

GEOGRAPHICAL LIMITS

Anywhere in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Southern Sudan, Burundi, DRC and/or Comesa countries.

Theft, hold up & hijack clause(loss due to robbery) extension

Riot & strike, flood, storm, tempest, impact and allied perils.

Fire & explosion

Policy subject to monthly declaration.

Automatic reinstatement of loss.

Safe and books clause.

Replacement value clause.

Misdescription clause

Breach of warranties clause

War exclusion clause

Excluding misterious disappearance.

Excluding theft by servant and/or agent
